Ben Ramsey directed Blood and Bone. The screenplay was written by Michael Andrews. Michael Jai White plays Isaiah Bone. He is released from prison at the beginning of the movie. He relocates to LA. In LA, there are local underground fights that Bone wants to be a part of.

He pleads a deal with Pinball who is played by Dante Basco. Bone defeats every fighter he comes in contact with. The underground fighting league is owned by a group of very powerful and rich men. James, Bone's manager, wants him to take on the champion Pretty Boy Price. He later agrees after saying he will think on it.

Bone meets a woman named Angela. Michelle Belegrin plays Angela. Bone was in prison with her husband Danny.

Bone and Danny became very good friends. Danny was killed while in prison. He promises Angela that he will find her son and bring him home to her.

James controls everyone in his path. He was the one that ordered Danny to be killed. He is Angela's boyfriend but not for long.

While with James, Angela becomes an addict to drugs. Bone makes it his mission to put a stop to James and his controlling ways.

James is arrested but not before he is defeated by Bone during a fight. Thanks to Bone, Angela is reunited with her son. Bone gives an envelope full of money for Angela to go and get help for her drug habit. Blood and Bone is rated R for violence, drug use, and language. Parents should know that there are a few scenes where blood is shown while fighting.

Fighting is the whole idea of the movie so there is quite a bit of it. Blood and Bone will draw in more adults and maybe teens then any other groups.
